This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership, and claims performance of the property claims department.
***This role is ideally based near one of Zenith's California office locations, but we are open to fully remote candidates residing in California.

Candidates must currently reside in Nevada, as this position handles Nevada workers' compensation claims and requires knowledge of Nevada-specific regulations and practices.

With limited direction of managing attorney, performs duties of legal counsel on complex legal matters in the defense and representation of the Company in a variety of courts of law, and other related appearances.

Prioritize and manage an assigned caseload of medical and disability workers compensation claims according to Zenith guidelines, performing UR and telephonic case management, as indicated.

Under general supervision, develops, tests debugs, maintains and documents information systems applications. Performs code walk-throughs, reviews and audits. Executes complete life cycle for simple to moderately complex application components based on design specifications.
