Overview

Under general supervision, develops, tests debugs, maintains and documents information systems applications. Performs code walk-throughs, reviews and audits. Executes complete life cycle for simple to moderately complex application components based on design specifications.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training/experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience required

Work Experience

  • 3+ years related work experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with building Power BI components
  • Familiar with Java and common libraries like Spring Boot and Hiberate
  • Ability to create interactive dashboards using Power BI
  • Familiar with Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integration purposes, specifically VUE.js
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling
  • Able to write and debug SQL statements and PL/SQL packages
  • Experience creating REST endpoints and understanding the API/Webhook design pattern
  • Experience with JSON/XML data formats
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiar with Python and common libraries like Pandas and PyTorch
  • Exposure to AI components that make up a RAG model
  • Experience with prompt engineering
  • Familiar with cybersecurity standards
  • Preference for Insurance Business domain knowledge in at least 1 area (Policy, Claims, Other).
  • Practical understanding/demonstration of Development process and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply advanced features and functions of systems, processes, technology standards and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, self-starter, motivated, and multi- task oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize work requirements.

Pay, Benefits, and Other Information

The expected salary range for this position is $85,736 - $107,170. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
