Hands-on working manager who plays a major role in helping Zenith write and retain profitable business. Typically works under S&H AVP or VP to manage 3 or more S&H consultants. Ensures high quality S&H services provided to policyholders, agents/brokers, and internal customers within assigned territory. Versed in S&H concepts, practices, and procedures. Coordinates day-to-day activities, workflow, and assignment completion for direct report staff. All tasks are to be performed with the goal of achieving an underwriting profit and demonstrating Zenith's superior workers' compensation expertise.
Identifies employee injury/illness exposures and provides workers' compensation cost control services. Consults with policyholders and internal partners to reduce policyholder loss potential. Supports effective workers' compensation underwriting with timely and accurate policy rating and risk information. Works under general supervision and guidance within specific limits and authority on assignments of larger size and higher technical complexity. All tasks are to be performed with the goal of achieving an underwriting profit and demonstrating Zenith's superior workers' compensation expertise.
This role may be filled at either the AVP or VP level, depending the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Audits, analyzes, arranges and revises submitted information to determine reimbursement. Tracks issues and trends and makes recommendations for process documentation and technical improvements.
